“I’ve been running TekkenCanada for 8 years. I’ve been heavily involved in the Fighting Games Community (FGC) since 1999, first in Europe, and now in Canada. I host weekly gatherings at my place, and I am the heart of the Tekken scene in Montreal. When I lived in Toronto, I showed up to as many tournaments as I could, and although I couldn’t be as active as some other members, like my good friend Neorussell, I pitched in to help whenever I had the time.

I’m also an avid follower of most large FGC events, either participating in and/or organizing the ones in Canada, and watching most of the ones in the USA. I’ve written 7 articles on why I love fighting games, the beauty of tournaments, and why the FGC has been my home for over 13 years.

And now my home is under attack.

Well, I won’t stand for that. Let’s talk.”

American Tekken legend Lingmassacre has come up with something truly different. It’s a tournament, no killers allowed, where 8 players are handpicked based on style & similar skill levels & our very own Vargas the Sick has had his Wang chosen for the final roster! The event is located on a mysterious island somewhere but the whole thing should be streamed (details to come). Let’s wish him luck!

There was some big news over the weekend @ Comic-con. Not only was there Tekken Tag 2 streaming for 3 days but new details were released about Tekken Hybrid. This PS3 exclusive package will include:

• Tekken Blood Vengance movie on Blue-Ray 3D
• Tekken Tag Tournament HD
• Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue

The prologue will be a playable demo of the game with the characters fr0m the movie. On the Tag 2 stream Harada also stated that there will be some sort of viewer program where you can customize the character models and view them in 3D. Should be a blast!
